I was looking to get one more dive in this year and trying to decide where to go. Anyone have any reports on the temps and vis at Haigh, Gilboa, Portage, and White Star? Thanks

Today at White Star on an overcast day
40ft vis
74 degrees on the surface
62 degrees at 70ft

people getting into the water quick as they could because it was "warmer under there"

Won't last long... soon it will be October... hope to see you diving soon.

Rich

Thanks for the info, never been to White Star, might have to give it a try.

Whattya' doin' Wednesday? or Friday?

if you can be out there anytime from 9am - 2pm I'd love to dive w/ ya' an show you 'round the quarry...

lemme know what works for you...

White Star was really nice 10 days ago. I had the same numbers as Rich. Hoping to make it back there once more before hanging up the gear for the season.

Think we've decided on White Star. Driving up from northern Ky. Friday night and diving Saturday. Looking for a place to stay Friday night that might be about a half hour or so south of the quarry, any suggestions. I'm sure there's a place in Bowling Green, how far is that from White Star? Got about a 3 and a half hour drive and leaving after work around 7.

There is a list of Hotels at Accommodations

I am working the concession on saturday and sunday stop by and say hi
