almitywife:
im only putting a small amount of air in my suit and using my bc for bouyancy but yesterday was being told that this was incorrect and i should use the suit for bouyancy.

i dont care what the book says - i feel safer using my wing

anyone else getting this difference of opinion from other divers???
Ignore the book, and use the wing, especially since you're more comfortable with it.

You're used to dealing with the wing. And it's easier to deal with a bubble trapped in a small place (the BC) than a big bubble free to roam the length of your whole body... especially since there's only one place it can get out. You have more venting options with the wing.
