Question The Bommies

Hello,

Does anyone know the dive site "The Bommies"?
That's how I have it recorded in the log few years ago - most likely it's around Similan #8 or #9

Does anyone know any alternate name and/or GPS co-ords?

It's a small bay on the South side of Island no.9. It's usually used as a night dive as boats moor up in the bay and dive north point or christmas point in the morning. No other name as far as I can remember and you probably won't find it on Similan dive site maps.

I have it in my logbook as;
8°40'33.54"N
97°38'45.78"E

Checked this on a map and it is a bay on South side of island no.9

Yes exactly, I checked the log and it was a night dive. Thanks a lot for your help
