Always thought juvenile Puget Sound King Crabs looked like little orange gnomes with claws ...
Like many crab species, this little fella has one big foreclaw for crushing, and a smaller one for cutting ...
Then there's Mr. Happy ...
Claws didn't help this fellow from becoming lunch ...
Finally, the heart crab ... his claws just seem to blend into the background ...

This was the biggest crab I have ever seen. The picture doesn't do it justice, but I wasn't sticking any body part near this crab for reference.
This guy would have gladly have tried to take my finger off. Does anyone know what kind of crab this is? Is it a blue crab?
