That's really great news for Thistlegorm wreck!

Sorry to hear it coincides with your diving safari, Mark.

No worries, s*** happens. I've done over 35 dives on the Thistlegorm over the years, so it can wait for my next trip - be interesting to see how the new system works out.

Good news if it happens.
Just got back from the Red Sea, had a great morning being enveloped by a "Bait Ball" of little silver fish being attacked by Tuna, while relaxing sitting on her bows on a bollard. Amazing. Will never forget it.

Drinking and diving do mix... I grab a beer as soon as the last dive of the day is over, as it is the best form of deco available – alcohol thins your blood, which means the nitrogen bubbles can get out easier! Believe me, DAN will be promoting this in a few years, I am just ahead of my time...

:rofl3::rofl3: :cheers::biggrin3:

What this board needs is more smilies ! :wink: Excellent selection admin

Much water has flowed under the bridge since this thread, but I feel appropriate to return to the topic.

There is a facebook web page which seek to raise awareness about the care we should have with the vessel. There is an ongoing project for building a mooring buoys around the vessel whichI wholeheartedly support. You may follow this out through the next link:
