I have been diving for 11 years now. I am a PADI DM and I am currently working on my TDI certifications.

In the beginning, I logged all my dives using the data points off my dive computer. Now that I have a newer computer with an interface...I just download all the data and fill in all the details of each dive via my pc. This makes logging my dives much more efficient without dripping all over a paper logbook on a dive boat.

I have heard that some resorts and/or boat captains will ask to see your logbook. In my 11 years of diving, I have never come across this...I have only been asked to produce my dive certification.

Just my 02.
