Anyone dive in Tobermory this weekend? What are the water temps? I am heading there this weekend and I figure I should start preparing mentally for the cold.

Hey i am also heading out there this weekend! Boy its gonna be a cold one in my 7mm

Dry suit...........

I had a reading of 41 at the Forest City, 42 at the Niagara, 43 at the Caroline Rose and 45 at the Tugs. That was on Wed. May,17th.

Yup... Still the same. Although the wind and air temp this weekend didn't help! For you guys in wetsuits, I would recommend tieing a string around your vital parts.... you'll need it to pull the little fella back out after your dive!:D

Oooooh! Just thinking about that is nasty. Like Stef said: "dry suit."

Maybe i am becoming a wimp, but this weekend was COLD in Toby. It wouldn't have been sooo bad if the air temp wasn't like 3 degrees. I had a hard time motivating myself to get in my cold damp wetsuit each time
