DAN also has annual travel insurance:

For me it's not worth it. $2K of trip cancellation insurance costs $292; $3K for $406. Our trips cost us in the range of $5K - $10K, so we wouldn't get much of our out-of-pocket costs back if we had to cancel. When I looked previously at travel insurance I had a similar reaction but I'll take another look.

I thought my credit card covered that sort of thing, as long as I'd booked the trip on that card. Will have to check.

I had looked into the annual travel insurance from Dive Assure before because we travel a fair amount but it seemed really expensive. Hadn't realized until recently that DAN was offering something similar now. I'll have to look at the numbers again. (You can get either for larger amounts than 2-3k.) Was hoping annual would be a better deal compared to per trip travel insurance (which I usually don't consider worth the price for us.)
