I've always been a "bring your own gear" proponent. I know my equipment intimately and most comfortable with it and I know where all my stuff is. (lights, knife, etc.)
We were on a liveaboard in T&C last year and had a really nice time.. enjoyable diving. We did see sharks, nurse and blacktips, but they generally kept their distance. Just relax and watch them go by.
Have a great trip!

When I went to T&C, I took my own gear and was glad I did
only so that I would not have to spend half a dive learning
new equipment and could enjoy the view.

I went with CA and they were great.

And yes, I saw sharks on over half of the dives.
Have a good trip.

i went in october aboard the aggressor liveaboard and did 27 dives in 6 days! check out some of my photos... i posted a few there! the sharks at night were the best!

have fun!
