I just came back from diving in Cod Hole with Mike Ball's Spoilsport. The cruise director said that they never have anyone got stung by irukandji or box jellyfish, especially being in the outer reef of GBR.

As a precaution, wearing long sleeve wetsuit or Lycra (shark skin) is a minimum requirement. Wearing short on the legs is OK. I wore 3mm jumpsuit. Water temperature was 80-81F (26-27C), perfect temperature for wearing 3mm wetsuit for me.

On the last dive they offered some snorkeling trip for those who would be on the border of 24-hour no fly zone. No one took it. We went diving or skipped the dive.

All 30 divers came back safely. Everyone had fun, I think. At least I did, but didn't see the Potato Cod. May be next time.
