Tyler State Park - Fees
Note: Information and prices are subject to change. Please call the park or park information (1-800-792-1112) for the latest updates.

Entrance Fees:
$3 per day, per person 13 and older
Group School-Sponsored Trip entrance fee per person (not for overnight stays): $1 - $5
Contact the Park to make arrangements and for pricing.
Special entrance rates for:

Holders of:
Texas State Parks Pass.
Youth Group Annual Entrance Permit.
Texas Parklands Passport (Bluebonnet Pass)
Children 12 and under (free)

Facility Fees:
Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.
Pets are not allowed in any Texas State Park buildings. For other general pet restrictions check the Texas State Park Regulations. For park specific pet restrictions contact the park.

Camping:
Maximum 8 people per campsite unless otherwise noted. Applicable daily entrance fees are charged in addition to the campsite or facility fee.

37 - Tent campsites with water:
$12 per night

20 - Campsites with electric and water hook-ups:
$16 per night (Cedar Point Area)

57 - Campsites with sewer, electric and water hook-ups:
$18 per night (Big Pine - RV only - no tents)
$20 per night for Premium Multi-use (tents allowed) in the Lake View Area

35 - Screened shelters - 6 of these sites are adjacent to the Group Dining Hall
$24 per night

Group Camp with Group Picnic Pavilion and Campground - This facility is in the Black Jack Group Trailer Area and consists of 30 campsites and a Pavilion:
30 - Campsites with electric and water hookups in the Blackjack Group Trailer Area - No tents are allowed. This is a solid paved area with water & electricity. Used as an overflow area or as a group area for recreational vehicles:
$14 per night

Group Picnic Pavilion in the Blackjack Group Trailer Area:
$25 plus $12 for each Group Trailer Area Campsite occupied. If 10+ sites in the Blackjack Area are paid for, it's no charge for the pavilion

Day Use Only Facilities:
Group Dining Hall (capacity 100) - Facility has 6 screened shelters adjacent to it. The shelters must be reserved separately. Other campers are allowed in the area if one group does not rent all 6 shelters:
$75 per day

Group Picnic Area (capacity 40):
$25 per day

Group Picnic Pavilion (capacity 75):
$50 per day

Amphitheater (capacity 75) - Contact the park for details:
$25 per day

A Texas State Park Store sells souvenirs, snacks, camp supplies and rents canoes, paddle boats, kayaks, and fishing boats; and a concrete launching ramp with a courtesy dock.

Campsites are going quickly. If you are comming, and you haven't made your site reservation, it would probably be a good idea to do so.

I got a heads up and made mine. We would love to have as many out as we can get.

Tom -- are dogs allowed as TSP overnight? Not sure if I'm staying overnight or not - but would love to know if I have to board my dog if I'm camping.

Through Trashfest, we clean up Tyler State Park and raise money for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

This year's event will be our fourth annual event, and will feature an expanded two-day schedule with events for everyone, more patients involved in water activities, and more money raised for Scottish Rite! There will be diving, snorkeling and swimming events, as well as a 5K run/walk.

Last years total prize giveaways exceeded $12,000. This years' goal is to increase the amount of giveaways and exceed last years donation to Scottish Rite Hospital. Come out and join us for a great weekend of fun, food and prizes. Have a great time and help out with a worthwhile cause.
