I'm looking at getting a new regulator for use in colder water. I was first looking at the Legend Glacia, but my LDS told me it would be overkill unless I'm doing ice diving. He suggested a Core instead, saying that it was plenty good for 40F and up water. Is he giving me the correct info?

Aqua Lung regulators with Supreme in the name indicates they are environmentally sealed and therefore many be used in cold water. i.e. Core Supreme, Legend Supreme, Titan LX Supreme.
