Well, no doubt that there's a ton of divers in Florida... But they mentioned that the conditions would be dark, cold, and low vis... The divers I know in Florida are so accustomed to diving - where it's so plentiful - that they might not be interested in this sort of dive. At least, that's the concern that the article expressed.

Too, how many Florida divers are experienced in those sorts of conditions? I would believe it's only a small percentage of them.

To me, it seems like a perfect opportunity for a road trip. :)

Besides, something tells me that there's plenty of opportunity for us there... Whatever other divers are in the water certainly won't "hog" it all, you know. :)
