I'm sorry you had such rotten luck. My wife and I have been fortunate enough to go on cruises where we dove in Coz and Grand Cayman (multiple times) as well as Belize, Roatan, St. Maarten, St. Croix, Dominica, Barbados, Aruba, Bahamas, and Curacao.

So when both of our boys were certified we took a wester caribbean cruise to introduce them to diving on Coz and GC. We had a good, fun day in Jamaica, but port call to GC was cancelled due to weather, and we had a day in Coz that sounded like yours - the harbormaster closed the port to all scuba, snorkeling, etc.

Bummer!

PS - I bit the bullet and am taking the family to Coz for 10 days this coming June, so unless the fates really have it in for us, they will get to dive in Cozumel - maybe you should come and join us!

Well that's rotten luck, sorry SeaYoda!

As Glen said, our favorite spring sites are all flooded out... I'm personally hoping for another drought summer, last summer was GREAT for the springs, that's for sure.

I want to do this again, seeing the creek bottom all the way...
