any suggestions for thermal protection in Palau and Truuk.

Palau we will be doing shallow single tank dives

Truuk we will be doing long 2hrs plus double tank dives with lots of deco

I need to buy a wet suit but need suggestions

first take me with you

secondly a 3-mil shorty or a dive skin as the water there is WARM and thermal protection is a word to use above the water.

3mm to 5mm should be fine. Depends on the time/depth of your dives.

Eric

PS - I can fit into a small duffle bag :)

I did Palau in a 1.5. I run on the cold side and stayed pretty toasty, so most would probably do with a skin.

thanks for the info... thinking of going myself this summer. want to do it on the cheap. any suggestions? does one bounce off hawaii? thanks

water temp about 28 last month - well it was in other parts of micronesia. I was comfortable in shorts and T but then if you are doing some penetration I would cover up a bit.

Have fun
Jonathan
