Wetsuit choice

Although the wetsuit you speak of may not be a hyperstretch like mine it sounds like the same design. Henderson calls it their 2 piece step in combo which means it is designed to be used together so I would keep both. I dive the combo with a 7/5 hood, 7mm gloves (or sometimes 5mm gloves), and 7mm boots in water between 40 and 65 degrees f and I amalways comfortable while in the water but sometimes it gets real warm topside.

My recomendation it keep them both and pick up boots, gloves, and a hood.

My Sea Elite 7/5mm semi-dry, is my favorite wetsuit. It's absolutely wonderful. Diving Vortex Spring in February, I didn't feel the least bit cold. At all!

I would expect not. I dive those springs -Vortex & Morrison- in an old, worn out 3/2 full suit.
