Living in Florida, closet space seems to be at a premium.

Is is ok to store BC's in the garage, hanging and partially inflated? Same question for wetsuits??

I saw the like someone put to an article that said if you must store in a garage, seal in a large plastic bag. What about the Florida heat?

Thanks.

As long as they are both out of the direct sunlight, it should be fine to hang them in the garage. I would make sure that they are both throughly cleaned and deodorized and fully dry before hanging. Invest in a BCD & wetsuit hanger.

Another note:
Don't store them near your furnace. The residuals gases associated with the incomplete combustion of fossile fuels reek havoc on your rubber gear, mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit, dry suit, bc, etc...
so if you have a basement or garage and a fuel burning water heater or furnace are located nearby...bad choice for storage.
