Vo-Ne Research is a great South Florida conservation organization. They do a fair share of the actual nuts and bolts work of reef conservation and restoration on the reefs of Broward and Palm Beach counties. They maintain and monitor the bio-rock coral growth experiment off Deerfield, construct and maintain the local mooring buoy system, and lead much of the other hands on, practical work of conserving local reefs.

Project Baseline. Not only is this project diver-friendly, it's diver inclusive! The idea is to build a photographic baseline of dive sites, so that we can document site changes over time, rather than just hearing the old boys say, "You should have seen how many fish were here a decade ago!"
