Geez.....all those sound great and I an a force fin man myself you won't win any races though......I would say that what would make diving more fun, enjoyable, and comfortable and most importantly safer are my dive computers, one on my wrist and one on my consol......

My dive parka.

I love all my gear, but being comfy before and after a dive is priceless!!

A mask that fits. 15 years of on-and-off diving before I stumbled into a mask that really fits; it's a night-and-day difference.

My scooter-Mako. It opened up new horizons for beach diving. Teamed up with my E8-130 in 20 ft of water, I have a range that amazes me. It's like an underwater Segway.

Actually I've evolved a bit so I'll start at the beginning:

1st - FredT backplate and Oxycheq wing. Totally awesome. Got me trimmed out right away. And very streamlined.
2nd - Apeks regs, love 'em
3rd - Ditching the console for a nice brass SPG and wrist mounted Suunto Vyper.
4th - Wrist mounting my Suunto compass after giving my retractor compass to some lucky SOB at Dutch Springs :)
5th - PST E-7 100's steel tanks. Nice reserve for deep dives and less lead.
6th - Replacing my DeepSee OW training mask for a nice Aqualung Mythos. No comparison.
7th - Going to the long hose on my rec. rig. 1 dive and I'm sold.
8th - Drysuit for local diving. I'm sold here too. Love it.
9th - Almost forgot my Jet Fins and FredT spring straps.

SeaCure mouthpiece -- I've been diving for a while(500+ dives) and teaching for 6 years. Having a comfortable mouthpiece is the piece de resistance!

Air2 integrated octo. One less hose to maintain.

Wrist mounted computer(I have an oceanic) -- pricy but neat. Again, one less hose to maintain.

TightieWhitie - my tank will never slip again.

I would have to say my dive computer.....I dove for years without one then about 7 years ago I gave one a try and liked it ok, but on a vacation to cozumel it broke and I actually had to dive without a computer and I felt totally naked without one..

Last month i purchased H2O audio underwater mp3 player, I love diving with my music and highly recommend one to music lovers!
barb:
I recently bought a new mouthpiece - SeaCure. This has made my diving much more comfortable - no more tired jaw from grippiing the mouthpiece!!
I also made a recent purchase of the UK Light Cannon. Wow, it sure was worth it - it lights up the wrecks, entices those fishies out of their hiding places and is'nt too heavy to carry! Initially I was'nt considering this equipment as the price was a bit high for me - but I shopped around and found a better price and I'm so happy I did!!
So what piece of equipment has changed your diving experience?

i love my dive skin! not only is it so much easier to get into my wetsuit, but i look sexy too! heehee! I also love my steel 80. I am happy i bought that instead of an AL80. Plus Im short, so the size helps too. Oh, and Im so looking into spring straps and a cobra computer. Later.
