The tables are a slide rules . . .
The computers are calculators . . .

"IF" all of the exact same information were fed to each, the answers would be identical.

A wise old diver once told me to "use one or the other, but not both but it's still fun to see how "bent" you are because of what the tables tell you"

Computer is multi level, tables are square. Unless you get into that "wheel" contraption, you will always err on the more conservative side when using tables.
