I was origionally trained and certified for Open Water by PADI. I felt they were very commercial. There were obviously members of my group who were not ready for the open water and were passed anyway. Granted this is only one opinion. My subsequent certifications all have been by SSI. I have been very pleased. I will be training with TDI shortly, stay tuned........

Currently PADI but the LDS is switching to SSI.

SSI, PADI, NSS-CDS and PSA. I put in the vote for PSA. Has anyone else here had training by Hal Watts or any of his instructors?
