Cayman Brac diving with the Brac Scuba Shack. The other dive op on the island is a resort that is full of non-diving Christian ladies the last week of August, so you'll have the sites to yourself.

CAribbean hurricane season is JULY to OCTOBER. Hurricanes can pop up any time during that period. In fact, officially it starts in June and there have been storms that early. BUT, it is also the time when water is warm and calm when there is no storm, so it can be the easiest diving regarding weather.

Bonaire is a very good option... look at flying through Houston, used to have flights on United on Friday night arriving there for breakfast on Saturday. Not sure if they do that in summer.
Buddy Dive - Eat, Sleep, (Buddy) Dive! is where we have stayed twice.... incredible shore diving right there just feet from your room.
