Has anyone here ever seen a great white on a regular dive (not a shark dive) off of California? Most people I've talked to when I dived Monterey said that they had never seen one, though most had been there for years.

I believe PhotoTJ recently reported a GWS sighting off of Big Rock

I've seen leopard shark, guitar shark, horn shark, soup fin, swell shark, black tip, white tip reef shark while diving. I've seen dog fish, blue shark and thresher shark from a boat. Never have seen a Great White though.

Saw a Great White, appx. 10 ft, just off the main pinnicle at big rock. Swam by. looked at me, and kept swimming.
