Hola to all the divers coming to Mexico.
In the hotel Nabalam in Isla Mujeres (face to Cancun, 15 min. by ferry boat) we are offering dives completely different from all the diveshops of the area. As a little bit experienced research divers, we were lookin' for new spots and we found at least 6 different spots totally unknown. Each trip we do, it's an adventure and with our crews we meet frequently lemon, bull and sometime hudge "devil" rays. We never feed them, they are enough big and smart to find their food by themselves! Our center is located in a very beautiful place, the only one in all the Caribbean Mexico with sunscape just in front of us... and we offer special dive packs. Our politic is totally against big diving boats with 30 divers on the same spot... but just the opposit... we generally use authentic rude diving boats for authentic divers. Maybe we will never earn a fortune in the scuba diving business... but we consider ourselves already enough reach and happy to discover almost every day the beauty of the bottoms of this side of the planet. For further informations don't esitate to contact us here on Scubaboard. Good visibility to all of you. Ciao

more than 5000 dives (sorry but impossible to log all!)

I did not know you had decent diving there. Thanks. You should work up a simple web site, maybe even on Facebook, and put the link in your Sig and Profile here. Then get involved here...

Isla Mujeres is a very good place to visit. Much like Cancun/Cozumel were years ago. [ quieter ! ] Pretty good diving in the area.

We make at least one trip to the Yucatan each year, in December. We had considered Isla, but were a little worried about the diving quality. Your post has piqued our curiousity, and it is certainly something we will consider next year (this year's trip's already booked, sorry).

Thanks a lot guru... My website is still in progress :sleepy: you know, Mexico is beautiful but is always Mexico... "siesta" time and "let's do it tomorrow" are the most used words here
by the way we are on facebook as Balam Nautica Mexico and our email is nautica@nabalam.com

Thanks you Captain Esteban it's just like you write. Perhaps that's the reason because there is still an interesting sealife... and the ryhthm here is so slow that lot's of people fall in love with the island! Hope to see you here... ciao

Isla Mujeres , & Cancun , share some of the same diving locations. While much of the diving is novice - intermediate, I have seen more marine wildlife in the dives there, than ever in Cozumel. Another reason, you don't have to go deep, to enjoy. !! Plus, overall, Isla Mujeres is a cheaper, &&& quieter place to go. It is easy to get to & is not a problem.

oops. old post
