Will electrical system in Bonaire give me trouble charging camera batteries?

We always plug in our more sensitive electronic devices using a surge protector power strip. Bonaire is known for random power outages, so we like the extra layer of protection. We also try to be in the condo when things are charging so we can unplug as soon as fully charged.
