This is what I love about discussion boards, even when your correct some one calls you wrong. I'm a Fish and wild life officer, When I said dolphins I should of said dolphin fish.

So why didn’t you? There’s a huge difference between a dolphin and a dolphinfish. BTW, Mahi Mahi or Coryphaena hippurus works for me too.

Don't forget "Dorado". But yeah, hardly anyone refers to the things just as plain "dolphin", at least not since the 1970's, when true dolphins were commonly all lumped in as "porpoise".

If it's legal then the only option is with the politicians. Typical useless law that wants to sound tough but has no teeth.
