This is what I love about discussion boards, even when your correct some one calls you wrong. I'm a Fish and wild life officer, When I said dolphins I should of said dolphin fish.

So why didn’t you? There’s a huge difference between a dolphin and a dolphinfish. BTW, Mahi Mahi or Coryphaena hippurus works for me too. :wink:

Don't forget "Dorado". But yeah, hardly anyone refers to the things just as plain "dolphin", at least not since the 1970's, when true dolphins were commonly all lumped in as "porpoise".
