Both my wife and I have this bag. We bought it because it had some great reviews. We think they're great. Any particular reason why these bags have been discontinued in favor of what's currently available?

Those were definitely nice bags. Unfortunately, airline baggage fees being what they are, the marketplace continues to demand lighter weight bags that still retain their durability. Reacting to this, we have launched the new nine-piece Tour Series of bags. We believe that these bags will be equally successful.
