Just recently I was on a boat gearing up, when a young divemaster/instructor eyed my Nikonos II and asked, "Is that camera waterproof?".
I assured her it was and she gave me a somewhat drawn out "Okay", like I was crazy and she wasnt sure if she believed me or not.
Am I really getting that old? ;-)

I probably would have said "I don't know.... let's find out :D".
Or "I hope so; I'm takin' it with me..."

Nah ... old is when the dive boat gives you an AARP discount ... and you feel good about it ... :D

Old is when you forget to ask about a senior discount. And then find that they automatically, without asking gave it to you.

I don't know whether to feel good or bad when that happens.
