Looks like I am headed to Florida this summer for work, and I will be a cert. diver as of next week. I am pretty sure I will be working somewhere around Jacksonville, and I should have weekends off. Any information on the area would be great. This will be the first time I have in Florida so I have no idea what to expect. I heard that its humid and rains a lot. I can deal with the rain but I'm not so excited about the humidity being from Washington...

call Dave at Scuba tiger he will get you started down there. I think they mainly do spring diving in that area (locals correct me) but there are some wrecks also.

Thanks I will have to call him as soon as I settle.

Be sure to head down to SE Florida for some great wreck/reef diving.
Have fun & be safe
