Hello!!!
I'm a NSS/CDS and IANTD cave diver, and I'm trying to make my own canister, but I can't find latches and switches. Any place in the web to get those things???

Thank you very much for any advise!

mcmaster-carr is my favourite hardware spot

if you check in the do-it-yourself forum, you'll find that the canister lights are a fairly common project, there's lots of resources out there.

If you don't have it already, if you're building lights I'd order the Divelight Companion:

Roak

Yahoo group hiddivelights

I also have a Pro 14 canister and lid, with latches and batteries etc, without switch, gland lighthead. Im about to list it on ebay. What sort of money are you looking to spend?

Obrigado Sue,
I wrote an email to german guys...

I'm pretty close from portugal, do you know some good caves there?

Hi there

I know we're close

I'm doing my intro to cave, but caves here are very different from aboard (mainly from those I've been in Yucatan).
Lots of restrictions, very silty and not so many.
How about there? My instructor is a friend of Miguel Romans, do you know him?

Sue

Sorry but I don't know Miguel, where he lives? In Spain.
I took my full cave dive in Cancún-Mexico. The instructor was Bil Philips, he really good and has almost 20 years discovering caves in Quintana Roo.
If you have time to send me info about your cave (portugal), it will be very good. I can go to portugal for a weekend a dive (maybe together...)
My wife hate caves, but she loves the water...

TDLord

I'll send you some info ...

but besides caves, we do have a big ocean coast to dive ... however I do recommend a dry suit!

Where do you usually dive in Spain?
