Got a charter going in the Gulf soon. First dive for me in the Gulf which has a range of 10 to 20 miles offshore. I have a clear mask and a blue filter (pink lens) mask. Which should I use? Does it depend on weather and vis?

I think what you're calling a pink lens mask is actually a color corrective lens mask which helps restore some of the primary colors (red) that fade away at depth. There is also a yellow mask lens that is similar to the yellow tinted sunglasses and is supposed to make your eyes more sensitive to available light. I however dive in just a clear lens and I'm very happy with it's results.

I prefer clear. I carry a light to see colors at depth.
