Thank you, I had an o-ring blow and the local dive shop wants $60.00 to rebuild my gun. I am a tech diver and not afraid to work on my own equipt. My question is have you had any luck getting the rebuild kit from mares or should I go to the hardware store? also what type of oil should I use?

Any oil would work, I have had luck with 3-in-1 oil, but any lubricant that doesnt damage rubber would work. I would just match the O-ring @ the hardware store man, it will cost you 30cents to fix the gun. Most people dont realize how simple pneumatics are to work on, and if done right they will last forever....they have bad rep, but I believe that has something to do with what dive shops charge to fix them :)
