Anyone diving the Peace river next week?

Anyone interested in diving the peace river for fossils? I will be in the Punta Gorda area for the holidays and could dive any day between Dec. 22-28 with the exception of Christmas Day. I dive the Peace river and Shell creek regularly and have some choice spots but would like to have a buddy along, any takers?

I used to live there, so I have to ask; what do you do about alligators?

What aligators? Just kidding. I have only had them check me out when on the surface. They usually just go about their business. The gators come with the teritory when diving rivers and lakes in the south (and sometimes up north too). Always exercise caution but do not let them keep you out of the water. I worry more about boats running me over far more than gator problems.
