So some friends and I (I'm the only diver in the group) are planning our next vacation and Greece was thrown out as an idea. I have never been diving in Europe and never been to Greece, as was wondering if someone could offer some advice on whether the diving in the Mediterranean is good and maybe recommend some good places to go.

Let me know your thoughts.

There is certainly some excellent diving in the Med. I have never heard of much diving in Greece other than Chatterton's expedition to the HMHS Brittanic, but I assume being a near-tropical clime there will be other diving there too.

Nearby Cyprus has a big diving community, and there is a lot of wreck divingin the Adriatic.
