Is there a book or other reference that has hand signals typically used for scuba?

Thanks

What about other signals beyond the basic ones covered in OW? For instance, a wider range of sea critters. I've had this same question, and all I can find are a rehashing of the same basic signals.

There is a book called Scubasigns

THe NACD puts out a small handbook of more advanced hand signals.

Books at NACD Online Store

You will also find a good collection of them in the TDI Advanced Trimix Student Manual.

The important thing that should come out of this is that there are different interpretations and different signals - and whatever you choose to use, you should define & agree with your buddies before the dive
