We will be relocating to Balikpapan, East Kalimantan Indonesia this summer. As near as I can tell there are NO PADI dive shops in all of the Indonesian portion of Borneo. IS there a reason for that? Who controls the diving in that area? I am a PADI IDC Staff instructor and I would like to be able to teach and arrange dive trips. THanks

Did you figure put if there's a compressor and tanks anywhere in Balik? Also any have decent boats that could take us out to the wrecks?
