Hi all. I'm having a problem with my SmartTrak software that I'm hoping that someone would have a solution to. Took a dive trip last april, uploaded all of my dive data via my SmartPro. Everything worked great. Today I decided to open SmartTrak and look at one of my dives and - now the file won't open. I get a "E_Fail status" message and it says that the file is corrupted.

I'm on a MacBook Pro, with Visual Box installed and running XP. This allows me to upload the dive computer directly to SmartTrak, which is running on the XP platform.

Quite frankly, I'm fed up with Smarttrak. However, I'd prefer to be able to rescue my dive log BEFORE I delete their poorly created software.

So:
1) Any suggestions on what I can do to recover the logbook and not have lost my dives?
2) Any recommendations on what software package would work better with my Mac and SmartPro?

Thanks!!
Michael
