So I have been using a crotch sctrap made by Dive Rite for 2 years, I hate how stiff it is even with the neoprene sleeve. I decide to make one with some very soft webbing (from Dive Rite harness webbing).

My quesition is can I use tri-glide in the front to hold the loop in place? or do I have to sew it together. All the commercial crotch strap I have seen has the front loop sewed with d-ring captured. Is there reason they don't use tri-glide?

But if you don't use a scooter, the triglide is sufficient. Of course, you probably won't use the d-ring either.
