I mean this bankruptcy thing. How is every day life? How would this impact diving industry? Do most divers come from out of town? Where do you guys see diving businesses head in the next few years? Would dive shops close?

Curious ...

Detroit itself is a nasty decay that will not end for a long time, and does not really affect divers whatsoever. Most divers are from the metro area and satellite areas of the city that are not affected, or already underwater. Most of the dive shops out of Michigan are in wealthy or decent areas so there is nothing to worry about. Business will carry on like nothing happened.

I didn't realize Detroit was such a diving hot spot.

Primarily forensic teams getting bodies out of sewers on account of the high rate of homicide...
