I wandered around today. IMHO I did not see anything that caught my eye. The Sherwater NERD is certainly interesting and can be used for OC as well as CC. They even talked about a recreational version of the Petrel. But overall I think things are pretty stagnant in the industry.

Did they mention what would be different about a rec. version of the Petrel? I'd be interested to see such a thing.

Not really, we had more general discussion. I think many of the options like the gradient would not be adjustable. Then on the other side there would be a three minute safety stop added in.
