My goal is to be able to responsibly, safely, and skillfully penetrate wrecks between 130 feet and 200 feet in tropical waters.
I have identified potential instructors, which in turn narrowed down my options in terms of training agencies to PADI TecRec and TDI. I'm looking to get some opinions and insights from those who have experience with these training systems, as they have significantly different training curricula.
Prior to any tech training, Rescue, Nav, Wreck, Deep, Nitrox, Self-Reliant Diver, and DEMP (DAN) certifications (along with several other less relevant courses) will all be acquired, and all potential instructors have the obvious gear requirements necessary to pursue training in either system.
Given the stated goal (and assuming the instructors are more or less equal in terms of being able to provide quality instruction), which training route would likely be most beneficial? And, more importantly, why?
