I have been diving with IDI Frog Fins for the last 18 years, and I love them! They are a great match to my type of kick stride/stroke. However, they are also very heavy, and with luggage weight becoming more of a factor these days, I am starting to look for a lighter alternative. Does anyone have any recommendations? I tried about 10 years ago a lighter, full-fit fin, and I only I did one trip with them. They are now collecting dust in my garage.

Any help/input would be greatly appreciated.

Dive Rite EXP Fins at LeisurePro

I believe these have been replaced with a newer model (Dive Rite XT) ... but they've been popular as a travel fin alternative for people who prefer Jets and other heavier style rubber fins.

A plug for Scubapro Gorilla fins. Powerful and stiff. VERY LIGHT in weight. Positively buoyant. Looks nice too.

I use OMS Slipstream fins. They're the same basic shape as Jet fins and are stiff, but are much lighter.
