All Day on the Spiegel Grove

On all Saturdays and Sundays between June 8 and July 19 and 20 Ocean Divers in Key Largo, FL will be taking one of their 42 – 50 foot dive boats on an all day tech type charter to either the Spiegel Grove, Duane or Bibb.

The boat will depart from Ocean Divers dock in Key Largo at 9 AM and will return to the dock around 4 PM. The boat will tie up to one of the wrecks and not move until time to return to the dock.

We have room for 18 technical divers; we must have a minimum of four fully paying divers in order to run the trip. The fee per diver is $130 + tax. Bubble watchers fee is $55 + tax.

Divers must bring their own equipment and gas. Aluminum 80’s with air and EAN32 can be rented from Ocean Divers. Divers must have an advanced open water certification or equivalent in order to participate on this charter. Advanced Nitrox or above is highly recommended. Divers must provide proof of certification.

Divers should bring a cooler with ice, drinks and lunch since we will be offshore for seven hours.

Divers are welcome to dive CCR’s or Open Circuit up to any level you are certified to. We will not limit bottom times or decompression times so long as the diver is trained, equipped and certified to conduct such dives and back on the boat in time for the scheduled departure.

We can provide a guide for wreck (daylight zone) or advanced wreck dives (Penetration). Dives can be 30 minutes or 5 hours long so long as divers are trained, equipped and certified to conduct such dives and communicate the dive plan to the boat crew.

There is an additional fee for guided dives. Advanced wreck divers must hold a certification for advanced wreck diving or be enrolled in an advanced wreck course diving with an instructor.

Contact Jim Wyatt at: Jim@cavediveflorida.com or call him at 352-363-0013 for questions or booking.

Other days can be arranged with a minimum of four divers.

This is the boat we will be going out on. Lots of deck space. We have seven people signed up for opening day!!

We have seven divers scheduled for tomorrow, June 7. We have room for several more divers. The wind is forecast to be 5-10 knots, seas will be calm and visibility has been great on the Spiegel. :cool2:

We depart Ocean Divers dock at 0900 and go the the Spiegel Grove -- we will stay tied up to her all day. This will be a good time at a great introductory price of $130.00.

I am planning to conduct guided dives of officers' country, 01 level and main deck.

OK gang...lets do another tech trip out to the Spiegel Grove this Saturday, June 21

Any takers? Boat leaves Ocean Divers at 9 AM & returns around 4 PM. We tie up to the Spiegel Grove and stay all day. Certified tech divers can dive all day -- all we ask is that you plan to dive within your training limits.

Call Ocean Divers or Jim Wyatt for details 352-363-0013. The last trip was great.....
