We are heading to Bonaire for our second trip the end of this week:banana:, and were wondering if there are any swim-throughs? We watch this forum among several others for Bonaire and haven't seen anything mentioned. I am guessing the answer is no, but thought I would throw it out there for those that have been to Bonaire multiple times and have done many more dives than we have. Thanks for any input!!

You can swim through the Hilma Hooker wreck....

None that I know of. I thought the swim throughs on GC were lame at best (no silversides and mostly nothing but dead rock). Bonaire has so much life that I wouldn't bother with a swim through anyway.

There's a small one at Angel City.
This double reef dive was named for the friendly angelfish in the area which accompany divers. The depth is from 30 to 100 feet and there is a "swim-through" coral arch near the mooring, which provides a good frame for photographs.
We never found but I think it's at 2:15 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbxV6bi3BZU

That's because the people you dove with didn't take you to the right sites - and you were at Devils Grotto the wrong time of year. Inherently though they are mostly dead rock since no light gets to the good ones. Coral doesn't grow as well in the dark...

3 examples - and there's quite a few others like the "Oriental sites" south and the Maze and a couple others on the East End that I can recall w/o effort.

Yep. Wish I had been there with you instead of the group I was stuck with. I know GC has some totally awsome sites. They just never went anywhere but the DG/Eden area.
