Now known as TD 19 and tracking toward Bay Islands & Belize - but all this is subject to change. Could make weekend flights interesting...

At least one computer guess is not in agreement tho...

Im on one of those weekend flights so hope this veers off! Leaving friday from california to atlanta then fly out to roatan sat am. Hoping for a week of great diving free of rainstorms, time will tell I guess!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Tropical Storm: 5 Day Forecast Map : Weather Underground

Should not affect Roatan flights. A very slow moving rain storm.

Looks to be of much greater interest for Belize and Cozumel, but it will hit there well past the weekend flights.

Likely to be rainy in Roatan for the first quarter of the week, anyhow. Wind and wave will be less on the South side.

Store Tropical Weather : Weather Underground as a bookmark on you 'puter.

I did forget to give the source for the maps; thanks. :thumb: Just offered the thread as a heads-up and discussion area.

Just upgraded to Tropical Storm Richard, slowed his western movement some, giving more time to build, will make hurricane Saturday - not just Trop-Storm, and hopefully veer more north.

We are on the flight flying back Saturday into Atlanta. Hope you make it down ScubaSchne....sounds like we are riding the shuttle back to Atlanta (hopefully). Right now (Thurs Night) calm. Been raining a little each day. The last couple days periods of sunshine during the afternoon. The water once the rain quit has been great. With the rain, very murky.

Looks like he plans to pass thru the Bay Saturday night & Sunday at the current projections, with a tentative landing on Ambergris Cay. Hope he is easy on the Bay Islands.

Sunday now looks pretty rainy on Roatan.

Hope everyone is getting in by Saturday because so far, that looks fine.

Yeah Sunday is not forecast as hurricane strength anymore. Maybe AKR won't kick people out onto the road this time.

Isn't AKR closed for the month of October, as do many businesses on the island?
