Does anyone have the smart tech and have you dove with it if so how do you like it

I have one and like it. It is like the smart pro wrist that I have with a few more features. I like that you can switch it into gauge mode just by pushing a few buttons unlike the smart pro.

Can you provide a little more info about it? I'm looking at buying a new computer and I am considering a Uwatec product.

Thanks

I'm also thinking about purchasing the Smart Tek, as I'm transitioning into technical diving. Do you know if it is set to salt water or fresh water? Can you set the water type, like the Aladin Tec Wrist? Thanks, Jeff

More importantly, can you turn off all the audible alarm? My Smartcom gets pretty noisy sometimes especially near the end of the dive.

I think you can change that using the computer interface, can't you? That's one reason I"ve shied away from Uwatec products, several important options on them are only adjustable using the computer interface.

You can turn off certain alarms with the computer interface but not all, at least that's the case for my Smartcom.

I also have a smart com. It's in a box in the bottom of my dive locker. Even after the recall, it's still buggy. Can't turn off all of the alarms, dealer only replaceable batteries, inaccurate; compared to my VR-3/gauge combo.

Hi,
I have a question about the tank switch feature. So, if you dive with two independent tanks loaded two separate transmitters, does it mean that you can switch the tank reading (transmitter) from one to the other under the water?

I don’t think Suunto D9 doesn’t have that feature.

Thanks in advance,
