Help! Need to know if my Vyper data pin is damaged

Hi all,

I've tried building the DIY data interface kit that from ROLI and I'm pretty sure that the Interface is correct as i've checked the voltage levels for the pins. however, The suunto dive manager program keeps giving me a timeout regardless of the time delay that i've set!.

Is there a way to verify if the data I/O port of the Vyper is functional without the original data interface kit?

try using the older version of the software, version 1.6. I could not for the life of me get my girlfriends new vyper to connect using the new version, but as soon as i tried 1.6 it worked.

I'm actually using the 1.6 Version... Perhaps I'll try using the latest version and see if it works...
