The Smartphone Dive Computer (aka SDC) allows you to consult underwater maps while diving.

In this tutorial we will show you:

SDC supports two types of maps: basic maps and Advanced maps.

Basic maps are typically some type of artistic rendering or sketch of a dive site and they are not geo-referenced.

Advanced maps are detailed representation of a dive site and they are geo-referenced.
Advanced maps will show your position and heading while at the surface and will also show you descent and ascent points. Additionally, some Advanced maps have pre-defined way-points that you can use for underwater navigation.
