I recently picked up some US Divers Super Rocket Fins on ebay for $5. Having never used them, I'm wondering about their pros and cons. I figure for $5, I'm not risking much either way.

They're very stiff.
This can be filed under both "pro" and "con".
Also, if they're the older "ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL" fin, then you'll have a hard time fitting them with anything except a soft sole wetsuit boot in a medium/small size.
I use mine in the pool with some size US 8 Aqualung Superzip Ergos. They work great.

What does this mean? Risking what. a sore foot or leg if they're too stiff? I had a set of Force Fins. They weren't for me. What was I risking by using them?
