11/27/10 dives/photos

what a difference a few days make! thanxsgiving viz on the speigel 30+FT(below average viz all week in the upper keys) and strong current. today, 1st dive deep molasses, light winds, overcast,(50-85FT, temp 78F); strong current with top-bottom vz(best iv'e observed in a few months), nice dive but difficult for our photographer(tim). decided to head north for the grove. again blue water and terrific viz considering the mdt current and overcast skies(max 95ft, temp 79F)(the bow shot was taken @ 15FT during safety stop). 6 large wahoo cruised by on the hang @20FT, of course our photo guy was already aboard the boat!

Thats amazing that the bow shot was taken from the hang line. I have never been on the Grove with that type of viz. Very nice.
